THE P4 SCI 300R (Rugged) Science & Research ROV System has been specifically configured for researchers, biologists, educators, and scholars to quickly and effectively perform a variety of basic underwater observation tasks in environments where gear takes a beating. The standard computer from the BASE Scientific system is replaced with a rugged Toughbook computer and adds an industrial hand controller. The one man deployable ROV can document fascinating marine life and their habitats, ancient architectural sites, endangered and invasive species, and polluted habitats in harsh environments both above and below the surface. The inclusion of real time video enhancement will ensure quality video documentation.
Open Enrollment Certified VideoRay Training is included with the P4 SCI 300R Science & Research ROV configurations.

P4 SCI 300R ROV SYSTEM INCLUDES » The VideoRay P4 SCI 300R ROV submersible as delivered. The submersible weight with full ballast is around 6 kgs (13 lbs). The VideoRay P4 SCI 300R Control Panel features a rugged Toughbook with a 10.5 inch monitor, Rugged Hand Controller, and the full suite of VideoRay Cockpit Software. A secondary integrated monitor is available as an upgrade. The Rugged Industrial Hand Controller come standard with the P4 SCI 300R ROV System. The P4 SCI 300BASE is delivered with the LYYN real time video enhancement feature which works wonders on image quality in silty, green / brown environments. The Tether Deployment System (TDS) enclosed in a Pelican 1620 Case with slip ring protects the entire 100 m (330 ft) of neutrally buoyant tether included with the system. The Pro 4 packaging includes custom foam cut to fit the included components of the system (systems may vary from the image shown) all housed inside a rugged 1620 Pelican Case with a retractable handle and wheels.
