VideoRay Pro 4 Manipulator mounted beneath the submersible in view of the camera.

The VideoRay manipulator arm attachment is one of the most useful tools in the VideoRay toolbox. Its uses are unlimited - anything from untangling tether snags to collecting samples to recovering objects up to 45 kg (100 lb). As soon as you use it, you'll wonder how you ever got by without it.
The manipulator arm easily attaches to the VideoRay Pro 3 and Pro 4 skid's existing holes and lifts objects underwater by using the tether of the ROV. From the hand controller or control panel, you can open and close the jaws to a two-inch distance to retrieve items in confined or hazardous locations. The VideoRay ROV's camera focuses in on the manipulator arm to provide a close view of the operation. When not needed, the manipulator arm can be easily removed in seconds.
The Pro 3 and Pro 4 manipulator arms are delivered with a manipulator clamp assembly that will attach to existing Pro 4 skids. It can be used in conjunction with most other VideoRay attachments such as Imaging and Scanning Sonar and positioning systems and is only available for VideoRay Pro 3, GTO, Deep Blue, and Pro 4 ROV systems.
