The grand prize for the Best of VideoRay 2015 Photo Contest went to Matt Majors of the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, who won a Yeti Hopper Cooler for his shot of an ROV deployment for a drowning victim search in Rock Island State Park. Our five runners-up, who will receive VideoRay ROV Pilot T-shirts, were Koichi Toda, Craig Thorngren, Steve Van Meter, Marie Fleetwood, and Jake McNaughton. The winning photos were chosen based on a combination of several factors, including photo composition, quality, relevance, and "intrigue," as well as the mission depicted. The grand prize photo as well as several of the runner-up photos will be included in Underwater Magazine's 2015 ROV Pictorial.

VideoRay would like to thank everyone who sent us images of their 2015 ROV expeditions! You can see all the photo submissions in the gallery below. We will run this contest again at the end of 2016 so be sure to bring your cameras with you on all of your ROV missions next year. Thanks again and best of luck in 2016!
