Why take on the risks and expense of human dives? Control fishery operations by seeing what's happening beneath the surface. Without divers, cut fish loss through net inspections, find expensive lost equipment, and perform regulatory compliance work.

Slip the 8-pound VideoRay ROV (remotely operated vehicle) into the water from a raft or land. With you at the remote controls, the VideoRay sub travels through the water, capturing crisp video.

Survey sea beds, inspect and sample polluted sites without spreading disease, recover morts, and check the condition of cages, quays, pipelines, cables, hulls, and moorings. Starting at just $6000 USD, the VideoRay shows payback quickly. Check out the video tab above for related Aquaculture videos.

In recent years the VideoRay ROV has become extremely prevalent in Broadcast Television and Film productions around the world. Its portability and ease of use along with the quality of video it can capture have made it the star of numerous documentaries. The popular History Channel series Deep Sea Detectives, starring famed shipwreck explorers John Chatterton and Richie Kohler, featured the VideoRay in two episodes scouting wreck sites and penetrating areas that the divers could not access.
Other notable documentaries and productions featuring the VideoRay include several episodes of the History Channel’s Monsterquest, the popular CBS crime drama CSI Las Vegas (Crime Scene Investigation), numerous Discovery Channel productions, the BBC production Primeval, and several NOVA productions. Not only do production companies find the VideoRay an easy way to gather underwater footage, they also find that it looks cool on camera! Check out the video tab above for our Broadcast & Film Video Channel with select show excerpts.

VideoRay ROVs have proven themselves as one of the easiest, cost effective, and safe solutions for hydro structure inspections. The compact and portable system can easily be deployed and piloted by a single operator while capturing high resolution color video for your documentation needs.

Weighing in at only 8 pounds, the submersible can easily be raised and lowered over long spans without the stress involved in deploying other 30 to 40 pound observation ROVs. Quality and power are not lost as the efficient GTO thrusters can pull long lengths of small diameter tether through small diameter pipes or inlets.

Getting into tight spaces or culverts is no problem as the maximum diameter of the VideoRay is no more than 10 inches (25.4 cm). The VideoRay can and will go places few other ROVs can access.

Engineers and security personnel will gain valuable insight into the structure while noticing immediate payback on their small investment. Check out the video tab above for related Hydro Inspection videos.

Historically in the offshore oil and natural gas industry, large, expensive, and cumbersome work-class ROVs have handled the bulk of observation tasks on offshore rigs and vessels. Recently the demand for a more portable, affordable, easily and quickly deployable, and "disposable" observation class ROV has been prevalent to suppliment the large work-class ROV in simple observation tasks.
VideoRay ROVs have been deployed at offshore sites around the world from FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) vessels and jack-up rigs to quickly capture high quality video. Engineers find the video invaluable to their underwater placement efforts and Project Managers value the added quality and safety measurements provided by the VideoRay ROV video. Check out the video tab above for a look at some of the offshore video captured by VideoRays around the world.

The safety of ports, harbors, bridges, and vessels is a top priority for Homeland Security, above water and below. Proven at the US Customs and Border Patrol, US Coast Guard, and US Army Corps of Engineers, the VideoRay is a portable, affordable system that can be deployed in minutes and operated by one person. Underwater security sweeps of ship hulls and piers can be performed quickly, reliably, and without the cost and inconvenience of divers.
With the addition of low visibility VideoRay accessories such as the BlueView ProViewer High Definition Imaging Sonar, positioning solutions such as the Tritech MicronNav and KCF Smart Tether positioning systems, and the real time video enhancement integration from LYYN, the VideoRay becomes an extremely potent underwater investigation tool. Check out the video tab above for our Port Security Video Channel with related clips.

The VideoRay ROV is extremely effective for inspecting potable water tanks and pipes – without the use of divers and from a comfortable position on dry land.

Using the VideoRay eliminates the risk of human contamination and exposing divers to unsafe conditions. The submersible swims through the tank and surveys the roof, seams, standpipes, and cables with ease while capturing valuable video footage. The addition of a manipulator on the VideoRay Pro models can also be usefull in collecting corrosion samples for analysis.

The VideoRay is also effective in submerged pipe inspections as the pilot can fly along or inside the pipe checking for leaks as well inspecting the integrity of welds.
The VideoRay makes tank and pipe inspections safer, more affordable, and more frequent while stretching budget dollars. Check out the video tab above for related Tank & Pipe Inspection video clips.

Proven on the USS Arizona, a B-29 airplane, historic archeological sites, and US Coast Guard wreck investigations, the VideoRay is an ideal tool for wreck surveys and searches. The VideoRay can scout sites down to 1,000 feet without wasting valuable bottom time while identifying potential hazards, visibility, and current conditions.
Attach an imaging or scanning sonar to the VideoRay for target location, then send the VideoRay in for a closer look or even inside tight openings in the wreck - all while leaving the wreck undisturbed. You can also get to the wreck faster by following the high visibility yellow tether to the site. Check out the VideoRay Wreck Survey Channel for several fascinating wrecks filmed by VideoRay ROVs.

It's tough to argue that piloting a VideoRay ROV isn't just flat out fun. It's even tougher to argue that watching that 500 pound billfish you just landed getting reeled in isn't the coolest thing ever. From the salon of your sport fishing yacht to the tip of your bass boat, VideoRay is perfect for checking out the action at your favorite fishing holes.
VideoRay is also perfect for a night of entertaining on your luxury yacht. Send down the VideoRay to get a glimpse of the reef or the local marine life population - it's guaranteed that you will have a difficult time getting the kids off the controls!

The VideoRay is also an ideal tool for safety inspections of your anchor stability, mooring security, and hull and prop condition.
