POTTSTOWN, Pa., December 6, 2022 – VideoRay today announced that owner and founder Scott Bentley has become executive chairman, with Chris Gibson, longtime executive and vice president of sales and marketing, stepping up to the chief executive officer role.

Bentley, the founder of VideoRay in 1999, has decided to retire at age 65 to a role with fewer day-to-day responsibilities. Gibson—who has been vice president of sales and marketing for 20 years—is uniquely qualified to take the reins of the company as CEO.

“It was a difficult decision to choose my successor, as there are multiple qualified candidates within our executive ranks,” said Bentley. “However, Chris has shown leadership, innovation and resilience through our successes and challenges over the years. I will be available to advise him and take on strategic projects in my new role. I will retain an office at our headquarters but not be involved in details as I have been.”
