Mission Specialist Operator Courses
Our Mission Specialist Operator training courses are comprehensive, hands-on courses designed for new users of VideoRay ROV systems. Each class demonstrates fundamental components and capabilities of VideoRay’s Mission Specialist Defender, Ally, or Pro 5 systems and is delivered with our customers’ specific industry and mission objectives in mind.
Each Mission Specialist Operator Course teaches mission organization and planning, ROV piloting and navigation skills, system maintenance tasks, and best practices to prevent injury and damage to the system or other property. Setup, controls, and operation of the manipulator and sonar components are also taught.
The course also introduces VideoRay’s Customer Success program, which provides our ROV system users with exceptional technical and operational support for years to come.
Additional days of training are offered to learn advanced topics such as DVL Autonomous Navigation and setup and operation of custom sensors & accessories.
Mission Specialist Advanced Maintenance Course
The VideoRay Mission Specialist Advanced Maintenance Course is designed for technician-level personnel to be able to diagnose, disassemble, repair and reassemble VideoRay Mission Specialist ROVs and Control Panels. This course will also include VideoRay Mission Specialist control software instruction and troubleshooting and an overview of accessories integration.
Pro 4 Operator Course
This is a comprehensive, hands-on training course designed for new users of VideoRay ROV systems. Each class demonstrates fundamental components and capabilities of VideoRay’s Pro 4 system and is delivered with the customers’ specific industry and mission objectives in mind.
The Pro 4 Operator Course teaches mission organization and planning, ROV piloting and navigation skills, basic maintenance tasks, and best practices to prevent injury or unintended damage to the system or other property. Setup, controls, and operation of the manipulator and sonar components are also taught when applicable.
The course also introduces VideoRay’s Customer Success program, which provides our ROV system users with exceptional technical and operational support for years to come.
An additional day of training is offered to learn advanced topics such as sonar setup and operation and/or setup and operation of custom accessories.
Pro 4 Advanced Maintenance Course
This course is designed for novice through intermediate users of the Pro 4 who want to learn more about periodic maintenance, diagnosing problems, and completing repairs and post repair testing.
Mission Specialist Defender Operator Course
