VideoRay’s Mission Specialist ROV Operator courses include a combination of in-person classroom and on-water instruction. Each class offers comprehensive, hands-on training designed for new users of VideoRay systems and teaches fundamental operation, components, and capabilities of VideoRay’s Mission Specialist line – Pro 5, Ally, Defender, and Wraith systems – delivered with the customers’ specific ROV model’s, industry and mission objectives in mind.
Our Basic courses teach comprehensive system familiarization, mission organization and planning, ROV piloting and navigation skills, basic maintenance and repair tasks, and best deployment and piloting practices for specific missions.
Our Intermediate courses add the setup and operation of optional accessories and sensors, e.g., manipulator, SONAR, USBL, while our Advanced courses add comprehensive training with navigation systems, to include positioning and executing autonomous missions.
- Deep diagnostic & repair training
- Advanced troubleshooting
- Focused, intensive in-person format
Want to become a diagnostic and repair pro? Prior experience with operating/maintaining Mission Specialist systems and basic comprehension of mechanical systems aren’t course pre-requisites but are highly recommended.
The Advanced Maintenance Course is three days of in-person classroom instruction and can be delivered at either of our Pottstown, PA or San Diego, CA headquarters.
